遇到个奇怪问题［救我］

一开始我的是2.6.18-1.2798的，然后按照下面方法安装

但是开机会出错。我重新启动下是什么错误。少等

一会就出现个couldn't start X ....什么东西的没看清楚   in .............
一下子跳出个display setting
我选择了LCD Panel 1024*768
Geforce4 MX 4000 AGP 8X
后确定。就出现
display setting changed
configuration was written to /etc/x11/xorg.conf,original configuration saved as /etc/x11/xorg.conf.backup
OK
try to restart the X Server
OK
进入了系统了。。

手写了一次／再打字打到这。。大家帮忙。。

显然是安装了驱动后xorg.conf配置不当引起的。
这个文件在/etc/X11/里面，你可以删除掉它，则使用默认配置进入X。不过这样的话没有加载新装驱动。可以从NVDIA官方网站下载nvidia-xconfig来进行自动配置。(不过我用的是官方驱动）上网搜一下相关的资料，我贴我的给你看看，
