还有把selinux都关掉了,我要做蛋白的3D结构方面的.
希望大家赶紧,显示器我没用,我用的是vnc,我在FC5下用的好好的,装完就好用.可是这FC6...

我遇到过类似问题，最终解决了

不过你可能要重装一下，用文本方式安装，语言选择英文，
安装完成，root进去
root#system-config-display
将显示器改成你的显示器型号，默认的是“通用显示器”
然后，将显卡驱动改成VESA
重新登陆，startx
一般就可以了，然后再桌面环境下打开终端
gedit /etc/inittab
将默认启动级别改成5
就OK了，我的问题就是这么解决的，不知道对你有没有帮助

装CentOS4更合适。

我也是845g的，
好像是xen对这个芯片组有bug，你用非xen的fedora内核，就没问题了
