求助:WINDOS下安装GRUB

在XP系统的前提下我安装了FC6,安装FC6的时候没选择安装GRUB..(因为不喜欢把GRUB安装到MBR上,FC6好像只能安装在MBR上)..可是现在进不了linux系统了..
求助:在WINDOWS下硬盘安装GRUB(把GRUB安装到/boot分区的引导扇区和安装到MBR两中方法)的方法....

1、在WINWOS下，下载grub4dos-0.4.3
解压到C。
2、新建一文件menu.lst,参考内容如下（当然你要有一个FC6的原始menu.lst参考，还有root （hd0,12)也会因机子不同而异，这自己去找）：

# Added items for installing GRUB [ which is on your DOS drive C: ] to MBR



color black/cyan yellow/cyan

title CentOS (2.6.18-8.1.8.el5)

root (hd0,12)

3、在C盘boot.ini最后加上一句：
C:\GRLDR="linux"

FC7有自己的代码，只是
title CentOS (2.6.18-8.1.8.el5)

root (hd0,12)

kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.18-8.1.8.el5 ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 rhgb quiet

initrd /initrd-2.6.18-8.1.8.el5.img
这上些段有变化而已，这个连solaris都能引导。

基本上说，所有的linux都可以用grub4dos引导。

这段在FC7中该如何写

如果你没有用LVM方式安装，大概就是
root=dev/hdb12 rhgb quiet
最好的方法就是叫某FC7同学发个FC7的menu.lst上来。直接copy就搞定。

我是装FC6的.你说的用GRUB4DOS的方法我也用过..
配制文件MENU.LST是这样配制的
title fc6
kernel  (hd0,7)/kernel-2.6.18-1.2798.fc6 ro root=/dev/hda8    注:我的/boot分区在hda8 /boot与/是两个分区
initrd (hd0,7)/initrd-2.6.18-1.2798.img   
可是这样引导的时候显示了几个屏幕的信息后就死机了,纳闷死了。.  
                           
请问:
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.18-8.1.8.el5 ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 rhgb quiet
最后面的 rhgb quiet是什么意思.一定要加吗?
(我重装过fc6.grub中引导fc6内容和我上面写的基本一样.就是后面多了个rhgb quiet     难道就是这两个的问题吗。??还是fc6的独有的问题呢。?
