can't install ati driver?

should i downgrade the xorg server?

My video card is ati mobility x700.
OS is fedora core 7

I have got it worked pretty well on my computer. I just delete kernel-devel-2.6.22.5-76.fc7 and install kernel-devel-2.6.21-1.3194.fc7. then i installed ati driver and xgl and compiz  fusion, it works pretty well !
