CentOS 5.2将于2008年6月14日左右发布

RedHat Enterprise Linux 5.2于2008年5月21日发布，这让许多人不禁期待起CentOS 5.2的发布。CentOS官方网站2008年5月23日对大家的提问作出回应，签于CentOS 5.1的发布（2007年12月2日），比RHEL（RedHat Enterprise Linux）5.1的发布（2008年11月7日）延迟了三到五周（当然不会同步，更不会提前）。CentOS 5.2的发会以相同的步伐紧随其后，所以大约为2008年6月14日左右发布。原文请访问官方网站：http://planet.centos.org/ 的May 23, 2008日志。

用这个就不用经常升级。除了安装一些软件的需要除外。一直用5.0呢。

A short update on the release of CentOS 5.2. We are currently in the progress of doing QA testing. All packages have been build. The current plan is to be able to finish all QA test this week so we might be able to release 5.2 next weekend or in the days after it.

As always, these are just indications. It will be ready when it is ready. But we are trying our best and we know that you are waiting for it :-)

I'll post another update in a couple of days.

支持cent os，现在用的5.1很好，但是对硬件比较新的平台来说就有点过时了。xserver还是1.1.1的，fedora都已经1.5了，呵呵。
