新的OpenSUSE将在本周四发布。世界各地都在举行发布会庆祝这个新版本的发布，包括北京。
你可以来参与这个新版本发布的盛会，在北京你还可以见到Novell SUSE的工程师们。
万分欢迎你的到场！你不只能够了解和探索这个大有前途的新版本操作系统，活动还会有奖品相送。

OpenSUSE will be released this Thursday. For this new release everywhere in the world a party is organized.
You are welcome to discover this new version, meet NOVELL SUSE's engineer in Beijing!
Your presence will be greatly appreciated.
Not only you will discover this very promising release but you also will be rewarded.

OpenSUSE11.1 is coming, you are welcome to join SUSE's Engineers to release this update release of openSUSE.

If you visited http://opensolaris.org/os/ recently, you may noticed that Sun has released its new version of OpenSolaris with the following new features:

    * ZFS Time Slider and Songbird
    * Suspend/Resume and CPU power management
    * Distribution Constructor and Prototype Automated Installer
    * WebStack with 64-bit MySQL, CherryPy, and DTrace for Ruby
    * GNOME 2.24, OpenOffice 3.0, and Firefox 3
    * Many F/OSS apps added, including top, sudo and emacs
    * 700 additional man pages and Package Manager online help

In order to make you experience it more easily, an install fest will be held for the upcoming BJOSUG meeting on Dec. 18th. Ahead of the install fest, SUN engineering and research institute(ERI) site lead Kevin Song will give out an open-speech on OpenSolaris.

If you're interested in this meeting, please bring your laptop with you to attend it. We'll prepare the live CD and VirtualBox for you to make the installation smoothly.
