if u r using ADSL over ATM that is u have to connect to get on to the internet. First you need to find out you chip model for ur usb modem, my one is Alcatel Dynamite. Try to search ur model driver on google, then install it. After you have done that, find out the DNS ip for ur ISP.
Once you have done all these steps, I will send u some articales about how to set it up

PPP不用设置DNS吧!可能和防火墙有关系!

不设置DNS, 可以连接但是进不了网站

我的也是上不了啊：ADSL PPP，已经设DNS，网卡固定IP设为开机时启用，防火墙已开，连自己网卡IP都PING不到（其他系统正常：WINXP、RF4.1、CO－CCREATE2005、FC3）
