I'm not sure what your Q is. In fact, in your case, the building time is lesser than a normal build. That's because you have passed Chapter 5, which is often raise problems. By the way,you have to download another 100M(not sure) to make the boot CD. The CD boot your computer and provide a new compilation enviroment, and thus you can do Chapter 6.
In the LFS BOOK,Chapter 5 is a preparation for Chapter 6.And the version of book may differ, an old Chpter 5(not very very old) can succesfully build Chapter 6.

anyone try in VMWARE?

我第一次装是在vmware里装的，稍微慢一点点，不过问题也不是很大。在vmware里装最大的麻烦是你所有的命令都要用键盘打进去，而不是copy & paste就行了。不过在我装好了以后，还是把它整个倒到硬盘上去了，因为我开始只是想试一试，后来觉得不过瘾，就分了个区给它，用真的了，呵呵。
