在 fc4t3 中无法安装 nvidia 驱动

我怀疑你没把nv改为nvidia,虽说你说改了。你看这段:

确实已经改了/etc/X11/xorg.conf下的
nv也改成nvidia了

模块已经加载,运行症状为特快的闪一下然后持续黑屏,必须用Ctrl+ALT+F1才能恢复。
改回nv可进入X

那为什么仍然载入自带的nv驱动,而不用nVidia的X驱动呢?你到nvforum去看看,有没有类似情况。

只看 EE 一句就足够了,没有加载内核模块的原因。你先在终端下登陆,然后 modprobe nvidia 看看能不能加载模块,然后再 startx

怎么会没提示的,至少应该有一句 non GPL license taints kernel 之类的吧
lsmod 看看是不是真的加载了这个 Nvidia 模块。只要加载了模块,xorg.conf 里面的驱动也设置成了 nvidia,那么你用的就是了
你的 nvidia 驱动版本是多少来着?在过去的版本中,需要手动复制 udev 相关的设备文件

唉。。。。功力不够啊,想想都回答错了
另外,竟然连 log 文件里面的 load "nv" 都没看到就胡乱猜测了…… :beat  :comp

不好意思,刚才是我贴错了
贴的是用nv启动时候的,这时候有EE,提示grl啥的

在用nvidia启动的log里面没有EE啊,只是一直黑屏

lspic后显示如下 :

使用modprobe nvidia后可以加载,但也是进不也X窗口。
我从Redhat 9.0开始就用linux,也装了很多次的驱动,即便FC1也都能安装成功。可是这次却无法安装。如果在rc.sysint里加上mknod nvidia之类的主句,在引导时就会提示出错,然后进入修复系统文件的命令符,分区变成是只读成,从而无法修复,只好重装系统了。
