Oswaldo Bellido is a Civil Engineer who confesses he likes computers. He's owned Apple II, 486, Pentium 1 machines, and in each one he's used different operating systems, until in 2002 he developed a cybercafe project and he made contact with Linux systems. Later, his experience with P1 machines led him to examine distributions that would allow him to make the best out of limited resource equipment. That's how he got involved in the translation of Puppy Linux (www.goosee.com/puppy), a distribution only 60 MB in size, which can be used in 486 and P1 machines, with an attractive graphical interface. |
