在那里下载samba呢?

系统本身就带的，如果没有，可能是没有安装上吧。

重装了一遍系统，当然不主要是因为samba了，不过这次我把smb.conf彻底的修改了一番，终于可以了，谢谢大家的帮忙。

客户是win2000,我是rh9,samba启动.当我在LinNeighborhood中看对方的共享文件夹时出现:smbmnt must be installed suid root for direct user mounts(500,500) smbmnt failed!
这是什么原因呀.我是按照北南说的步骤配置的.问题出在哪儿?

用root用户做，
chmod +s /usr/bin/smbmnt

这是允许普通用户直接挂共享目录。

大概的意思是192.168.3.203 请求失败,期间监听不到呼叫名.

我在想这个NAME是那个的名字.

server的名字?

我说的只是我的思路,估计是不正确的.

但是分析一个问题最起码自己要找到问题关键的地方.
