换硬盘后重新安装gentoo 2005.1 for amd64版经验

时间好像不对，我用Barton3400在-e world后编译KDE也才9小时。精华区里面的USE手册中说有2个选项可以不再编译32位2进制文件和32lib支持，不知道有没有关系。

阿哥啊，gentoo怎么样的系统知道吗？有几个人安装同样的软件啊。。。。。。
而且编译器可能也不一样
况且你的比我多400mhz,PII400可以做点啥你知道吗？

我只发现编译内核超快，别的都慢球：（

路过,问一下我的Sempron 2500+ 64位 + DDR400 512m的机子装的是这个吧?

要装多久?特别是编译kde...现在离开学校了,可以24小时供电了...呵呵

打算电源送来后就装gentoo,好久没有用它了

今天emerge -uD world后出现的一些问题

this message appears when i boot up gentoo linux
after login into the system, i can manually configure the network using dhcpcd and ifconfig -a and it seems work fine
but each time i boot up gentoo linux, i have to do the samething manually

and /etc/conf.d/net is the following

解决方法：
rm /etc/init.d/net.*
rm /etc/conf.d/net
emerge baselayout
最后再重新修改/etc/conf.d/net

楼上的，可能你的设置有点问题。
我用A64 3000+，速度很快的说。

我一个工作日就可以把自己所有要用的东西装好配置好。
当然，我用Openbox不用KDE，呵呵。

个人感觉，Openbox比较适合我这样的人用。KDE有点大而不当了。

发现kde以及c++软件编译速度最慢，内核最快，只用4分多种，5分钟不到
运行速度应该不算慢，而且我gnome也安装了，安装时间应该不会快到哪里去吧。。。。。。。
