FC5下安装ATI fglrx驱动

楼上的，直接用livna做好的rpm包就可以安装驱动了。
yum -y install kmod-fglrx
而且前不久刚发布了适合2.6.16-1.2096的驱动，enjoy it！

郁闷，我也是这么装的，但装完后也出现前面同样的问题～～～

从http://support.ati.com 上下载了ati-driver-installer-8.24.8-x86.run 这个文件，用 sh ./ati-driver-installer-8.24.8-x86.run 运行，是用自动安装的，安装完后运行了 aticonfig --initial , 可到硬件配置里看到显卡那一项里还是NULL。运行 glxgears 只有300－300FPS，运行 GLXINFO， 结果如下

看来应该是没有安装好。请问朋友们，这个显卡应该是怎么个安装法？
我用的系统是MANDRIVA 2006。

这文章有误导作用，我按这个装毛病一大堆
能上网的用户:
1.安装livna的repo
2.yum -y install kmod-fglrx(ATI显卡）
或yum -y install kmod-nvidia（nVidia显卡)
就这么简单，它让我现在还不晓得什么原因：64位FC5下测试正常，但用不了wine和vmware，都是显卡不正常，因为它们需要32位的，可装上32bit-libs后还是不行，原先的操作（按它上面说的）又不记得了，不能反mv了,烦
