可是连装都装不了耶,改了lisences再装也不行,是不是内核版本不对?

下面的是安装方法
昨天我从oss网站下了一个oss397f-linux-v2x.tar.gz
终于搞定了.回国头来看看还是满简单的.
步骤如下:
1.把gz包放到/tmp下解开
2.执行解压后的文件 ./oss-install
会提示替你修改内核的soundcore,修改/etc/module.conf,选择y
3.选择安装目录,默认值/usr/lib/oss即可
4.保存配置后安装就成功了
5.到安装目录下执行./soundon启动服务就可以了
你还可以执行./osstest的测试程序试一把
怎么样?效果还不错吧!

另外别忘了读README,学会怎样让系统在启动时自动加载此驱动.

Setup error 1: PCI interrupt not allocated by BIOS

BIOS had not allocated an IRQ for one or more PCI sound device. This
means that PnP support was not enabled in BIOS setup.

This problem can be fixed in BIOS setup. Unfortunately
the exact procedure depends on BIOS version. On most systems this can be done
by setting the "nP compatible OS" option to NO/OFF/DISABLED on the
PCI/PnP setup screen. On some other systems this can be done by setting
the "lug & Play OS" option to "NO" in the Boot setup screen.

把bios的即插即用禁止后又出现:

The AC97 codec chip of one or more soundcard is inactive. This can usually

又把电源管理禁止后播cd才有声,用打过补丁的 xmms播mp3无声,换了好几个插件都不行,快折腾死我了

上面说，如是上面两步都作了，我们应该看一下MP3的文件名，是不是以.MP3结尾的。

是以mp3结尾的。连redhat系统事件测试声音都不能播，奇怪

odinsjb兄，你在哪里设置的？在BIOS里面是不是，如果在BIOS里面设置了，还不能行，试着升级一下BIOS看看，我觉得这个问题能解决。。

北南南北兄我按照oss readme的说法在/etc/rc.d/rc.local中添加了一行soundon,可是在kde起动后还是没有声音,应该怎样添加这条命令??

仔细读第一帖，可以加一行，用kate打开，或者用vi也行。
另外，如果没有声音，就要看一下是不是xmms已经打过补丁了。如果 没有打过，我们可以打补丁。
