FC2确实非常不错！附简要调整过程(关于locale和输入法的问题，好象大家没抓住关键哦)

其实刻录机的问题在release note里提到了：

The 2.6 kernel provides a new and much-improved mechanism (known as SG_IO) for applications that must send raw commands to storage devices. This includes applications for burning CDs or for extracting data from audio CDs. SG_IO also eliminates the need for ide-scsi emulation, where boot-time parameters such as hdd=ide-scsi were required to support ATAPI CD burners.

Applications packaged as part of Fedora Core 2 have been adjusted to take advantage of SG_IO. For example, to burn a CD using cdrecord, the old-style command was similar to this:


cdrecord --dev=0,0,0 <iso-file>



With SG_IO, the command would be similar to this:


cdrecord --dev=<device> <iso-file>



Where <device> could be any valid IDE (/dev/hdc) or SCSI/USB (/dev/scd0) device file name.

新的SG_IO，使用cdrecord烧录直接用设备名 cdrecord --device=<device> <iso-file>

遗憾的是大家都不看release note~   :confused:

fedora 2还是很漂亮的。
感觉就是跟“中文”存在一些问题。

我很想使用其英文版面。
请问在英文版面下如何才能实现输入中文呀？？

陆续有人遇到了，恐怕更多人遇到麻烦，我想还是说一下。典型的一个帖子是：

在这里简单说一下原因和解决办法
fcitx-2.0.2-4.noarch.rpm和站上提供的一个美化包都会往/etc/profile.d内复制一个脚本
input.sh，这个脚本在每次登陆系统时都会运行，并往用户目录下的.gnome2文件夹写入session-manual文件，并且每次登陆gnome的时候，这个文件都会起作用，但它的内容却有错，导致gnome登陆困难，有时会导致崩溃。

解决办法：
1.删除这些文件
$HOME/.gnome2/session-manual
/etc/profile.d/input.sh
$HOME/.kde/Autostart/fcitx

2.删除曾经加入的export XMODIFIERS="@im=fcitx"; export XIM=fcitx ;export XIM_PROGRAM=fcitx等类似的条目，然后进行第3部

3.改/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/xinput
这个文件是redhat、fedora专门用来调用输入法的脚本，已经作了XIM的定义，把里面的chinput全部替换成fcitx就可以了，以后fcitx可以自动运行。记得备份
