Gentoo 有趣就有趣在于 USE flags。至于 GCC 的那些参数，其实意义不大。我现在出于速度考虑，用的是 march=i686 -O -pipe，呵呵。Gentoo 相对于 Debian 或者 RPM 的优势就在于 USE ，我可以 USE='-X' emerge vim 而得到的仍然是 vim，而不是一个什么 vim-lite 之类的怪物。

Suppose LinuxSir can provide compiling service for members. Before compiling, the user needs to supply information about its computer. then LinuxSir can use a powful machine to compile gentoo and produce what the user want, e.g., A CD image.

Of course the user needs to pay for it. In this way the user will save time and get a right gentoo version.

If I need to go through all these troublesome processes of reporting my computer specifications, placing orders, arranging payment, downloading the CD image, checking if the binaries work well on my machine, and so on, I'd rather compile myself.:cool:

The store profits go partly to the Gentoo Foundation, helping in establishing the not-for-profit entity, the server infrastructure and other Gentoo development-related support.

大家有没有想过在国内搞一个这种DVD卖呢！？
ibox不是很快就有硬盘安装版了吗！？可以考虑将ibox扩容，另外搞一个用户选项，自己选择已经编译好的包！然后想RedHat公司一样拿出去卖呀！肯定很赚钱！

研究GENTOO一段时间，最后还是用DEBIAN！其实我个人非常喜欢GENTOO，源码安装可以发挥电脑性能，但我的确没有时间去编译：（

其实如果有地方集中编译，我愿意出点钱让人帮助我编译，不知道哪 有这样的地方？How about linuxsir

可以考虑其他选择
1) vidalinux http://gentoo.vidalinux.com/
2) archlinux http://www.archlinux.org/
