最简单的办法：
e17按钮──configuration──Configuration Panel──Appearance──Startup
去掉Show Splash Screen on Login前面的勾。

关闭Splash Screen照样在启动时会黑屏十五秒左右，看来不是它的问题了。

从http://enlightenment.freedesktop.org/下载的源码不是最新的，还不如Archlinux的community源中的E17来的新，我现在用cvs慢点从sourceforge.net拖E17的最新文件，再编译看看有无问题。如果问题依旧，那我彻底没撤了，暂时就放弃E17了。

你可以试试换其它的theme然后看看(在E17菜单->configuration->themes 我使用的是default)
或是把你此目录下所有文件都删除

另外, 确认你在执行E17前执行了下面操作
rm -rf ~/.e
因为如果已经删除后，重起e17的话
这个目录下不应该有任何文件的

另外splash问题
可以在 E17主菜单 ->Configuration->Configuration->Apparence->Startup, 里面把对应的勾去掉

那我知道，在$HOME/下的theme，我都可以把它删除，我的错误是:

而且这种错误是在logout E17时才出现，会不会影响我所说的几种问题，还是未知数。

如果你$HOME/.e/e/themes/没有theme是很正常的，系统默认安装的一个theme在e17安装目录的share/enlightenment/中。
安装theme,可以去google搜索，也可以去http://www.enlightenmet.org/上去下载相应的theme，我更改过theme了，不是theme的问题。
我也删除过$HOME/.e/目录，不是它的问题。

另外splash问题

我让这样操作了，是根据diony的帮助做的，设置后无效，仍会黑屏十五秒左右才会正常启动。

非常感谢你的帮助，我这问题太怪了，现在我台式机挂了，没有其它机器供我测试了。
我很怀疑是我的硬件问题，但也没得测试了!

我在猜想，是不是处理edj的模块有问题呢？
现在使用无双介绍的使用cvs登录E17在sourceforg.net上的cvs，登录不了了，大概说是找不到文件，但freedesktop上的enlightenment又太旧了。

新版本的entrance很好了，可以设置登录不同的xWindow，而且没有了分辨率问题了。community中的entrance确实有分辨率问题，我试过了。
在新版的entrance中，e17-cvs.20070505的E17，是使用exec /opt/e17/bin/entrance登录，而旧版是使用exec /opt/e17/bin/entrance_login来登录。
这些关键的命名，我觉得不应该随便变更的。

抱歉，无双兄，可能我说错话了，你给的下载cvs方式可能没有问题。是我自己不会使用cvs而已，也有可能是我这网络的问题。我现在，经常有时候有些网站能访问了，有时候又不能访问了，挺讨厌的! 也有可能是下载的目录变更了!

你是在vmware中跑吗？我现在在网上找最2006年12月左右的E17版本，去年那段时间我在Archlinux，还是ubuntu上使用过，用起来很稳定。
你知道如何获得旧版本的E17源码吗？

还是不太了解cvs，不知道Enlightenment项目会不会保留以前的版本呢？如果保存了，在哪呢？

我的xorg.conf是经由hwd -x生成后，将vesa驱动改为i810驱动了，其它都没变。你们使用E17都没问题，就我有，这不是欺负人嘛！

下载完2007-05-05的E17源码后，再编译一次，不成功就暂时放弃了。
我觉得E17的想法非常好，觉得E17不是在做一个xWindow Manager, 而是在做一个xWindow Environment了。它现在的软件越来越多了，上cvs看了一下，又有一些新软件了,期待着E17发布beta或是release。
时时关注它的进展，找到机会会加入它的开发。
