用testing里面的2.6.30.5的内核，小企鹅就回来了，不过用的时候要调整一下lilo。
先看里面的readme。

原先我自己编译有2.6.30的内核的,不过觉得2.6.30没上SL13.0有点可惜.

看了下 CHANGES_AND_HINTS.TXT，写点了主要改进。依原文顺序，从上到下，大概。:-)

01、加了多个库文件，kde 包和几个很有用的程序，像 xap/MPlayer, xap/thunar-volman 等；
02、去除了 x/x86-input(video)-* 不常用的驱动，值得一提的是 *-video-fbdev, *-video-i810 和 *-video-vga，修改旧的 X 配置的时候可能有用；
03、添加了新组 dialout(gid=16，udev 需要) 和 netdev(86)；
04、网络安装的话，配置由 udev 接管，安装前无须再执行 'pcmcia/network' 脚本；
05、新内核，generic 日常用，huge 备用，SMP 鼓励用即便是单核 CPU；
06、原位置 /lib/udev/rules.d 现搬到 /etc/udev/rules.d，个人新规则加到 /etc/udev/rules.d 目录中；
07、kde 3.5.10 升到 kde 4.2.4，~/.kde 旧目录备份，完全用新生成的配置；
08、如果不能打开 cups web UI 的，禁用 ipv6，再重启，权宜之计；
09、udev 中 hplip 对应的规则属于 lp 组，使用 printer/scanners 时注意权限；
10、可移动设备，加 plugdev 组；电源管理，加 power 组；HAL “尊重” /etc/fstab 文件设定；
11、提及 xfce-terminal/VirtualBox 启动慢与 X 环境配置；
12、大多数情况下，不再需要 /etc/X11/xorg.conf 文件，输入设备由 HAL 搞定，XServer 自动配置一切；
13、KVM 中系统切换时鼠标的问题，调整鼠标驱动为 imps；
14、cdrecord 使用权限问题及解决方法；
15、提及 CJK 无法输入的情况，SCIM 配置及具体解决方法；
16、老机子(BOIS 早于 2001 年)启动有问题时，在 lilo 配置中关掉 acpi；
17、启动后无线或蓝牙灯不亮，加模块 rfkill-input module 测试。

哈哈，不致于吧…… 人家 vvoody 说新的 emacs 和 tex 要等 13.1，又没说 13.0 不稳定…… 我一直跟 current 都没出过什么大问题的说……

I have installed it on my laptop.
Now I am running it.
I just run startx, everything works fine except SCIM.
I just put initial setting in .xinitrc.
Then run startx, It fails.
Removing .xinitrc and running startx again, but no SCIM.
So this time I cann't input chinese.
Is there somebody using SCIM no problem in 13.0?
My English is poor.

In CHANGES_AND_HINTS.TXT:

4.   input methods use the SCIM (Smart Common Input Method) platform.
   
5.   The environment variables for SCIM support are set in /etc/profile.d/scim.sh
   
6.   The requirements for getting SCIM input methods to work in your X session

8.   (1) Use a UTF-8 locale. Look in /etc/profile.d/lang.sh for setting your
   
9.       language to (for instance) en_US.UTF-8. As a word of warning: maybe you
   
10.       should leave root with a non-UTF-8 locale because you don't want root's
    
11.       commands to be misinterpreted. You can add the following line to your
    
12.       ~/.profile file to enable UTF-8 just for yourself:

14.   (2) Make the scim profile scripts executable. These will setup your
    
15.       environment correctly for the use of scim with X applications. Run:

17.   (3) Start the scim daemon as soon as your X session starts. The scim daemon
    
18.       must be active before any of your X applications. In KDE, you can add a
    
19.       shell script to the ~/.kde/Autostart folder that runs the command
    
20.       "scim -d". In XFCE you can add "scim -d" to the Autostarted Applications.
    
21.       If you boot your computer in runlevel 4 (the graphical XDM/KDM login)
    
22.       you can simply add the line "scim -d" to your ~/.xprofile file.
    
23.       This gives you a Desktop Environment independent way of starting scim.
    
24.   When scim is running, you will see a small keyboard icon in your system tray.
    
25.   Right-click it to enter SCIM Setup. In 'Global Setup' select your keyboard
    
26.   layout, and you are ready to start entering just about any language
    
27.   characters you wish! Press the magical key combo <Control><Space>
    
28.   in order to activate or deactivate SCIM input. The SCIM taskbar in the
    
29.   desktop's corner allows you to select a language. As you type, SCIM will show
    
30.   an overview of applicable character glyphs (if you are inputting complex
    
31.   characters like Japanese).
