i want to use fcitx in my os ,my os is linux 7.2.no chinese input.
i have rpm the file fcitx-1.7-1.i386.rpm, it says the file has been installed successfully.
and i use the command:
cd /usr/bin
ls -s fcitx gWuBi
it says :112 fcitx 0 gWuBi
and i use the command:fcitx
error ocurred:
Your locale (enUS) may be not set to chinses,I may not work properly .
can anybody help me ?

and i have download the rpm file: simsun-ttf-2.10-1dyna.noarch.rpm
and i have installed this rpm  file

but i dont know how to use it to beautify my system.
because when surfing in the Internet, some chinese words are big and some are small

这包不对吧
应该是
#ln -s fcitx gWuBi
仔细看一下教程。

yes ,it's true ,but when i insert :ln -s fcitx gWuBi
it says:In gWuBi:File exists
but i dont know how to use the fcitx

是不是原来有安装G五笔？？？
那就要把原来的版本删除。
#rpm -e gWuBi
然后
#cd /usr/bin
#rm -rf gWuBi
#ln -s fcitx gWuBi

hi, now i can use wubi in my system ,thank you
but i have another question:
when i open a html window, some chinese words are big and others are small
i 't not as beautiful as that in windows 2000,
i have down the file simsun-ttf-2.10-1dyna.noarch.rpm
and have installed simsun.ttf
but i dont know how t o use it

小企鹅输入法， 经我测试，在 Mandrake 9.0 8.2 发行版中使用时需做的工作：

rpm -e Chinput       #删除原来的输入法

rpm -ivh fcitx-1.7-1.i386.rpm --nodeps --force     #安装小企鹅输入法

#cd /usr/bin
#ln -s fcitx chinput     #重要！如用 #ln -s  fcitx gWuBi 会造成 KDE 无法启动

I've succesfully install fcitx and when I enter kde,I can c
it's tray,but I just can't type any chinese.
I've check the profile,think it should be ok,just
wondering what should I do now,can somebody
give me some advise?

if this operation is successful
then logout your system,and press ctrl+space ,then you can use your chineseinput.
just try now!!!
