Conexant USB ADSL驱动的解决办法

我又装了mandrake9。1，按照前面帖子的说法综合了一下，好像都基本顺利，没出什么问题，

但是故障依旧，我能听见我的5800u咔嚓的一声，但是仍然无法 interface nas0

故障更前面一样，很遗憾，仍然无法解决。

现在前面的基本都搞定了，就是最后的pppd好像有点问题
用ifconfig可以看到eth0，lo，nas0
应该就是最后一点配置问题了，还要在研究研究！

设置一下dns，改/etc/resolv.conf
加入下面的两行
nameserver 202.96.134.133
nameserver 202.96.168.68
然后再来设置拔号。

又有一个Conexant USB ADSL的驱动，适用于Conexant Olitec USB ADSL的芯片，是一个完整的source package：

pppd: This system lacks kernel support for PPP.  This could be because
the PPP kernel module could not be loaded, or because PPP was not
included in the kernel configuration.  If PPP was included as a
module, try `/sbin/modprobe -v ppp'.  If that fails, check that
ppp.o exists in /lib/modules/`uname -r`/net.
See README.linux file in the ppp distribution for more details.

居然说内核不包含ppp，我重新看过，有的啊，为什么又找不到ppp.o呢？

另外：我用adsl－setup   居然命令错误！


在windows下查看ADSL连接属性，显示：ATM LLCSNAP 上的桥接IP （RFC1483），也就是说

采用pppoe连接的，应该没错吧。

“br2684ctl -b -e 0 -c 0 -a 8.35”最后一个a是指 ppp over atm，如果是pppoe，就应该换成
“br2684ctl -b -e 0 -c 0 -e 8.35”对吗？

还是希望dragonnapalm兄能写一个详细一点的教程，虽然我对前面的帖子详细的看了，也将英文howto

翻过来对照着做，但是好像还是有些，糊里糊涂，不知道问题出在哪里？？？

说实话兄弟我也没有成功，因为目前我还没有成功的让这个驱动识别我的芯片，不过你说的用adsl-setup命令错误，可能是没有装roarpppoe的原因吧？到这里取下一个装上，试一试……http://www.roaringpenguin.com/pppoe/

因为我的猫是自动拨号的，用以网卡接口的话就不需要装拨号软件，我估计usb口也是这样所以，其他的东西我也就没装。
还有，以前用以网卡接口时装了拨号软件运行时，大概和自动拨号有关（因为在windows下也是这样）总是有错误，会不会也影响到usb口的使用
