my scim can not load pinyin module

i installed the scim-0.99.0, scim-chinese-0.4.0 and scim-table-0.4.0 from source code~

when startx, it says:

Smart Common Input Method 0.9.7

Loading simple Config module ...
Creating backend ...
Loading Server module: pinyin ...
Loading Server Factory 0 ... : failed

of cource, can not use smart pinyin, but all other table's input method r all works.

what's wrong?

自己装的从源码安装吗？有没有--prefix?
locale，XMODIFIERS怎么写的，
删除~/.scim再试试
