i can't type Chinese entirly now.how can i do?

my system is RH8.0,and my desktop is KDE. i installed the fcitx by rpm.but nothing happened.then i put the order in the shell. It shows *********100%.but when i restarted.Still nothing happened.
then i installed the fcitx.bz2.when i restart,i can not input Chinese entilrely.when i put fcitx in the shell.it shows that there is another same-name file: xican-****.
I follow th Direct on the website step by step but the result is so bad.
how can i do now?
who can tell me?:help
