questions about fcitx input method

how to use fcitx on suse9.1 professonal?
i installed it, and set the .bashrc like below:
export LC_ALL=zh_CN.gbk
export LANG=zh_CN.gbk
export XMODIFIERS="@im=fcitx"
when i run "locale" it shows:

把zh_CN.gbk改成zh_CN.GB2312

你原来的“locale”是？
其实用之前不用改locale。

fcitx
export XMODIFIERS=@im=fcitx
只要有这两行就可以用fcitx拉。

之前的是gb2312，按照输入法专题里面的文章，在~/.bashrc里面添加了几行，再运行locale就改成了gbk了，
