newbie question: how could i use fcitx in english environment?

I installed fcitx 3 and it's good in chinese environment, but i can't use it in english environment.
  The control bar is appear on the middle-top screen, but i can't invoke the input bar when i press ctrl+space.
  please help me, thank you all!

如果你的环境是英文的，大概 locale 也是英文的吧。要想使用 fcitx，locale 必须是中文的才行啊。
