what's happened ????? help for rpm!

[root@localhost kejia]# rpm -e gaim






my new system ,but my use "rpm -e ............," "rmp -Uvh ............" can't show anything to tell my samething infomation for the soft i install.



the window look like is died, and i double click the rpm pakge, my computer show the window to ask me press into my root password ,and when i type into the password ,click "sure" ...........................then long and long time after ............. nothing show to me !!!!!!!

whether i forget install something pakges ??
what 's happened ??????

晕死，以上现象出现在RH9.0 Gon中，在KDE下完全正常，真是奇怪。晕晕的！
