声卡问题，求救！

硬件：dell inspiron 600m，ac‘97声卡
软件：magiclinux1.2，kde3.3，alsa
症状：声卡不能工作。
我看了精华中关于ac‘97的那篇帖子http://www.linuxsir.cn/bbs/showthread.php?t=122117，
发现我的情况和其中描述的很类似，就是kde提示
Sound server informational message:
Error while initializing the sound driver:
device /dev/dsp can't be opened (No such device)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device.
我也关掉了kde控制中心－>声音系统－>启用声音系统，但是，还是不行。
我还用了alsaconf，但是它提示alsa正在运行，要我关掉它，不知如何关？
