httpd+php的charset问题！

我用httpd+php做了一个网页,其中charset=utf-8，但是用浏览器打开时中文显示乱码，必须手动调节encoding到utf-8，不知为何？
中文部分是用php生成的。
请问该如何设置呢？

apache配置文件中添加AddDefaultCharset   GB2312

thx, but I just set default to utf-8, and it works well.
