还是PPPOE拨号的问题？麻烦您看一下！

折腾了好几天了，可是还是拨不上，
我按照这里的帖子和Mark Rais的“Basic Guide to Linux DSL Use for SuSe/KDE Users“
可是还是拨不上
局域网是通的
查看日志为：
  pppd[0] connetct :dsl0 (------)eth0
   pppd[0]  couldn't increase MTU to 1500
   pppd[0]  couldn't increase MTU to 1500
   pppd[0]  couldn't increase MTU to 1500
   pppd[0]  couldn't increase MTU to 1500
   pppd[0]  CHAP authentication failed : CHAP authentication failure ,Unit 140.

请各位高手指教一下，这是什么问题呀？
（就用的是Kinternet拨号，以前试过PPPOE3.5，在adsl-start时总是提示time out。
