gcc能不能编译成静态的可执行文件？

我想作一个简单的Linux系统，上面之需要vi和gcc以作练习编程，
现在已经作好基本系统，但是如何在一个没有任何开发工具的简单
Linux系统上安装gcc呢？

  看起来gcc要涉及到的文件太多了，无法从现有系统中复制出来。

You have to use a host computer to do the compilation work and then transfer the static linked gcc to your new system.

这里也就是要采用交叉编译了.用一个os为另一个os编译软件. 不错!!!
