昏了,gentoo到底要几个分区呀?

/一个分区,/boot也要一个分区吗?这是我怀疑的地方
看官方网站里boot也要一个100M的分区,到底需要为/boot另准备一个分区吗?

当然swap和另一个Linux发行版共用

看自己，嫌麻烦就不要，/boot放核心，如果单独分区可以在系统启动时不做挂载，或做只读mount，较安全。

我划分如下：
/boot，安装完成不mount；
/usr，安装完成准备只读mount；
/var/tmp，独立出来做gentoo编译的分区；
/tmp，可能被垃圾填满；
/home，用户空间；
/opt，给oracle系统；
/db，给oracle数据库；

我觉得这个boot分区完全是多余的

其实如果有好几个linux，把内核放在一起也不错。不过我的linux是装在两个盘上的，都是只有一个根分区和一个swap

我的/boot是单独的分区，rh8和lfs共用
可是我刚刚把rh8删了

it's quite a fault to say /boot is unecessary.

To be serious, I think it's a good practice to split a system into separate file systems. I mean it's quite necessary to keep system well controled and flexible. Also security.

And it's a skill we should learn. To evaluate the usage of resources and well organize every potential consumer.

Linux is not only beautiful or fast. It should run as a server! So in learning, to my point of view, we have to keep it in mind. Or one day, when we put it into real world, it would be a big failure.

如果可以，那么/etc/fstab里关于boot的内容怎么写？
不打算另装grub，就用linux发行版的grub，那么grub.conf里加入gentoo的boot又该怎么写？

其实这个boot分区只是个可选项，就看自己的需要了，呵呵
