133 实验: 如何把来自cron的输出到一个邮件地址?

I am playing with at and cron....everything works fine, but when reviewing Kevin's Red Hat Linux 133 实验,  about at and cron, step 6 and 7:

步骤一: 使用at和cron
6. 如何把来自cron的输出到一个邮件地址?
7. 以root身份使用pine,mail或mutt检查使用受到了来自at和cron任务的邮件

For step 7, it is OK: as root, I received mail from at and cron. I take everything default and don't configure anything to have mail sent for at and cron.

But I am not very clear about step 6.  What does it mean?  You can configure to have mail from at and cron sent to a specific mail address? If yes, how to?

Oops, right after I posted this message, I realized it can be configured in /etc/crontab:

MAILTO=root

You can change it to other user's email address if you like...

don't need to change that MAILTO, just use pipe.. such as cmd | mail someone

还是无法接受到邮件呀，请问怎么回事。

1，本机mail system是否打开？
2，查看日志，看看是否被拒了
3，查看垃圾邮件
