虚拟主机的试验室发现DocumentRoot 不能随便设置

我做虚拟主机的试验室发现DocumentRoot 不能随便设置，一定要在/var/www下建目录。
下面是我成功的配置
NameVirtualHost 139.24.205.98
<VirtualHost 139.24.205.98>
serverName www88.example.com
ServerAdmin root@example.com
DocumentRoot /var/www/vir
</VirtualHost>


但是如果我把DocumentRoot 改成DocumentRoot /www/98就死活不行，我已经把所有权限设置成777，请keven老师回答，谢谢！

但是如果更换DocumentRoot 就会只看见默认的apacha欢迎页面

在VirtualHost配置标记里加上日志项然后把error log 和 access log 出错的地方贴出来!

你访问web的时候浏览器里怎么输入的

楼主，首先，你的态度不对。别人好心帮你的忙，即使没帮上，也别恶言相向，至少，感谢一下也是可以的。

其次，改DocumentRoot好像要改两个地方:

# DocumentRoot: The directory out of which you will serve your
# documents. By default, all requests are taken from this directory, but
# symbolic links and aliases may be used to point to other locations.
#
DocumentRoot "E:/WebSites/"

再往下五段:
# This should be changed to whatever you set DocumentRoot to.
#
<Directory "E:/WebSites/">

你这个问题主要还是虚拟主机的配置问题。
目前我回答不了。
