FC5下，安装NVIDIA后的怪异事件！

我在装好FC5后（SELinux Disable），运行了yum upgrade，更新了kernel（2.6.16_1.2111_FC5），并装了相应版本的kernel-devel。
而后，我装了livna的xorg-x11-drv-nividia-1.0.8756-3.lvn5以及kmod-nvidia-1.0.8756-3.2.6.16_1.2111_FC5。装了相应的SDK
这个时候，问题出现了，运行startx后出现黑屏，感觉上是进入了Xwindows（硬盘灯狂闪）而显示器上没有内容。运行/usr/bin/glxgears和glxinfo出现couldn't open display (null)的错误。

奇怪的地方在于，我没有装NVIDIA的驱动时的xorg.conf（定为1号配置文件）装好NVIDIA驱动后的xorg.conf（定为2号配置文件）。当我直接使用2号配置文件，startx后，屏幕黑屏，似乎是分辨率的问题（？），不能正常工作。而当我先用1号配置文件startx(800*600)，然后退出，并再次用2号配置文件startx，这个时候，屏幕却正常了(1024*768)。谁能告诉我这是怎么回事呢？ 谢谢了。

看你的配置文件里并没有1024＊768的定义，你怎么会启动第二个，1024＊768正常呢？
你用第二个配置起一下，如果起不来把/var/log/Xorg.0.log和Xorg.0.log.old贴上来看看
