Why my mouse's middle buttom can't not paste???

debian testing daily.
I only install the base system + xorg + gpm. At first, the middle buttom can paste what I have selected. But now it don't work! The wheel can be used, so the middle buttom is in good condition.
Help me please!

虽然我也觉得鼠标损坏的可能性不大，但是不能说滚轮起作用中键就是好的吧？
