为什么root用户可以播放用xmms，我在其他用户里面就不可以了拉？问题出在那里在？

以前习惯在root用户下操作，今天想用用gdesklet但他不允许在root下运行，就建立了一个用户
user -m lzq
然后进入去
startx
想播放点音乐，但就是不成功！
提示为
failed to open audio output:ALSA 1.2.10 output plugin
但是我的xmms在root用户下是可以播放的！

另外，我的gnome-volume-control打不开，错误提示是
No volume control GStreamer plugins and/or devices found.
如果打开gnome-volume-control的Preferences错误提示为
The volume control did not find any elements and/or devices to
control. This means either that you don't have the right
GStreamer plugins installed,or that you don't have a sound
card configured.

You can remove the volume control from the panel by right-
clicking the speaker icon on the panel and selecting "Remove
From Panel" from the menu.
