如果哪位高人有时间帮小弟看看这个错误应该怎样解决！

小弟是初学者，昨天夜里安装了4次fc5，是从硬盘安装的，安装到usb移动硬盘，安装完成后，用usb启动，出现2种状况，一种是：出现grub，上网查了一下，有的说是重新安装就可以了，重装后出现另一种情况是：可以出现fc5的系统选择菜单，但选进入fc5后，出现如下的信息：
uncompressing linux ... ok , booting the kernel

查了半天也没找到是什么原因，是不是得修复一下啊，我安装fc5的/目录是dev/sda4，boot是dev/sda1，swap是dev/sda3
机器配置是AMD Athlon 64 Processor 2800+
是不是我应该安装64位的那个fc5啊？我下载的是32位的5张盘的安装程序， 在grub配置的时候，我选择培植高级引导，里面的2个选项（mbr和引导分区的第一个扇区）我都试过了，都是选择我的移动硬盘的分区，不知道具体的原因，一会我会在本地硬盘是安装fc5，再试试，如果那位高人要是有时间的话，能帮我研究一下，小弟感激不尽，第一次发这样的帖子，平常遇到问题的时候都是搜索，希望大家能不吝赐教！

GRUB 装在主机硬盘 引导区上 还是 移动硬盘上

有可能的是 GRUB 启动项 , 分区选错,

grub 装在移动硬盘上的，中午的时候在本地硬盘上使用同样的方法安装了fc5，安装成功，没有遇到如上的问题。
