如何安装3D桌面？

看了linux的3D桌面，也想弄一个。在网上找了，知道他叫什么beryl。我的显卡是tnt2 M64 32m的，1.02G的赛扬，815主板上的自带显卡我屏蔽了。
1：我的机器能跑3D桌面吗？
2：什么是XGL，什么是AIGLX啊？能否简单的说明一下，以及我的显卡能不能支持他们？
3：安装装3D桌面的步骤和软件需求？

因为刚刚接触到3D桌面这新鲜事物，对其概况不了解，在网上也找了很久，是越看越糊涂，所以请大家简单介绍一下，回答我 上面的问题，我才能有个方向。谢谢！

2、NV卡的话就XGL吧，你的卡太旧，可能用不了最新的nv驱动，也只能用XGL搞3D了

如果你把主板集成的intel显卡打开的话，aiglx或许会很容易。

aiglx不支持你的tnt显卡，xgl应该可以使用，但考虑配置，建议直接PASS

前段时间在笔记本上安装aiglx的测试结果：
配置：pm1.4，855gm集成显卡，512内存，64m共享显存
效果：beryl特效全开之后系统整体反应明显变慢，关掉模糊特效好了许多，基本还算实用，但资源占用率好像还有点高（记得不大清楚了）

是不是先安装XGL  http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_XGL
然后在直接安装beryl  http://gentoo-wiki.com/Beryl

但是好像在XGL的安装里提到的都是Compiz ，beryl是Compiz的后续版本，能直接安装吗？

装完xgl后，选beryl安装即可，记得最后在gnome的会话里加入beryl-manager就可以

在安装xgl时候又出错了。
按照http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_XGL#Installing_Xgl_2做的
在执行：emerge --ask --verbose xgl beryl-core时候
提示错误：
