[求助]装了FC6后和XP共存了一段时间，之后无法进入xp，grub选Windows提示error 13

我的系统一开始只有xp，在c盘，划了空间刚开始装RH9，后来装fc6的时候选择fdisk自动分区格掉了rh9，一开始xp和fc6能共存，后来有一天xp开着的时候，突然自动重启（我没注意到他是怎么重启的-正常关机还是突然崩溃），然后到现在每次开机都是

按任意键能回到grub的图形界面，但是xp仍然会这样重复，这样windows就没办法进入，而fc6可以顺利进入。
fdisk命令如下

XP是直接安装在c盘没变过，第二个硬盘没装系统，fc6是在xp下用pqmagic划出空间后一路几乎默认安装过来的。

用google和baidu找到的方法试过
1)dos下用fdisk /mbr然后重装grub，无效
2)直接用xp安装盘重装xp，setup...出来查找硬件的时候，就停止黑屏然后没有反应，无法继续安装xp
3)修改grub.conf，添加makeactive在rootnoverify(hd0,0)之后，无效

上有很多人给出各种各样的方法，其中建议BIOS设置为LBA mode而非CHS或auto，但是我没找到BIOS里有这个选项，我的主板是Gigabyte GA-6XV7-4XX,2000年配的机子。

这个blog说从rh升级到fc会有这样的问题，他们用重装windows解决了，但是我没办法重装windows（xp光盘放入之后开始到探测硬件一会就没有反应了），他们是升级的问题，而我当时在选择安装fc的时候是选择删除所有的linux分区的(不是手动用fdisk分区)。

上说是因为windows要读一下chs的问题，修改一下磁头数H就行了，给了一个命令
sfdisk -d /dev/hda |sfdisk --no-reread -H255 /dev/hda
但是我在fc6下用root帐号试的结果如下

我对比了一下上面的列表数字相差太大，又有警告，没敢--force试，怕万一不成windows下的数据全部丢失了。而且在https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=115980
里一开始说可以写成H240的形式，然后说in other cases probably 255 is better.
所以我糊涂了。

不过我的xp还是可以用的

这个应该不会有问题的,hd0=hda, (hd0,0)=hda1,以此类推...

如果你的BIOS里可以设置auto或CHS为LBA mode的话，安全起见我建议你可以先试试.

我的具体情况是，重装windows，然后用grub4dos企图恢复grub，但是没有用最后setup那一步，因为用了的话，就装上1.5，我想用2.0。后来不知怎么折腾的，linux可以引导进去。但是windows进不去了，每次一选中启动菜单的windows，系统就重新返回启动菜单。无奈之下，想用fdisk /mbr，但是竟然出现错误。说白了就是c盘不认识了。我的windows在里面好好的，现在dos访问不了了。只要输入才c：就显示什么abort，fail……的，郁闷的要命，想把c盘快速格式化也格不了，所幸的是dos提示只能低格，后来只好低格才解决了。另外，格式化之前我用工具盘里的pqmagic进去看了一下，我的c盘fat32格式变成了fat32x，我也不知是什么东西。

重装windows后重装grub应该问题不大的啊。我的问题似乎是以前rh升级到fc2时的一个bug，没想到在fc6时又遇到了。其实这个bug应该是windows惹得祸，可惜暂时离不开windows，否则就全部用linux了.

winxp的安装盘都没法装xp....这个厉害了,我记得xp盘很管用的

是啊，不过FC6还是能从光盘启动，后来我就重装FC6，分区时把windows全部格式化了。
现在只有一个fedora，用的挺爽的!

我也是这个问题，正在找答案。目前还不准备重装到2000。
首先重装xp黑屏，似乎用光盘引导到windows下fdisk /mbr也没用（已经引导进入Xp）。
老郁闷的……不知道谁有好的解决办法～期待Ing.
