旧的并口硬盘用转换器转成串口的，不能被Linux识别，系统引导时报错

买了新的机器，想充分利用旧的并口硬盘。我的主板只有一个IDE口，而且硬盘与光驱仓位距离过远，用一条IDE线没办法同时连接硬盘于光驱。于是我找了一个技嘉的并口到串口的转换器，在Windows下工作正常，识别为Serial ATA Generation 1 - 1.5G，另一个新硬盘是Serial ATA Generation 2 - 3G。
Linux引导的时候会报错：
ata2.00:failed to set xfermode(err_mask=0x4)
ata2.00:revalidation failed(errno=-2)
ata2.00:revalidation failed(errno=-2)
N分钟之后进入系统未识别出旧硬盘

是技嘉的915吗？
我也有这个问题，不过一直没解决，我记得调bios中的设置好像可以让它引导，关于并口、串口的设置，但记不清了，试试吧！要是有解决之道，麻烦贴出来我也很想知道怎么办。

我的板子是捷波悍马的HAO1-GT,NF550芯片组。
我的Bios那部分设置都试过，还是不行的。
