when i upgrade initscripts and klibc can`t start system.please help me.

when I start my computer .the error message :
/etc/rc.sysinit: line 362    /dev/vc/62 no such file or directory.
i look the /dev   can`t see  /dev/vc  ,why  /dev/vc directory is empty.
now i used ubuntu livecd.cry.
