请教各位指点ati显卡在mandriva下安装问题

内存 2GB DDR2 800MHz
硬盘 160G，5400转/分钟，SATA串行
显卡 集成显卡ATI Radeon HD 3200(共享系统内存)
光驱 内置DVD±RW
显示器 14.1 WXGA(1280 x 800)
端口 1×ExpressCard/54，4× USB 2.0，1 x VGA / 1 x S-Video，1 x 麦克风接口、1 x 音频接口，RJ11,RJ45，IEEE1394
屏幕尺寸 14.1

安装过程：sudo   shati-driver-installer-9-1-x86.x86_64.run  
                                aticonfig --initial
重启后 出现些启动信息，提示ok  最后黑屏
控制台登陆 startx  出现错误提示:没有模块type1,freetype,glx,dri
modprobe后发现 上面四个模块系统没有
请问如和安装这四个模块type1,freetype,glx,dri

我遇到的问题类似，重装了好几遍，最后搞明白了，在装之前先把开发类的一些东西装上，如kernel-devel，c compile,甚至gtk,qt之类的基础包装上就ok了
至于具体依赖哪一个，我没仔细看，反正这个方法倒是屡试不爽

我已经安装了所有的开发组件。结果还是一样。freetype not load.

AMD's Legacy Driver Will Not Support X Server 1.6

Early this morning we shared that AMD is dropping R300 through R500 support in the Catalyst driver. Beginning with the Catalyst 9.4 release, the Windows and Linux drivers will only support the R600 and R700 series (and eventually, R800) of ATI Radeon graphics processors. However, when writing that article we had no official response whether the Catalyst 9.3 legacy driver would support X Server 1.6. We can confirm now, however, that the R300-500 series legacy driver will not support this newest X.Org server release.

Effectively what this means is beginning with the next round of distribution updates (like Ubuntu 9.04 and Fedora 11) you will be unable to use the Catalyst driver. You could selectively downgrade some packages to the X Server 1.5 series, but that may cause other problems and is not something to tell a novice Linux user to carry out. Instead you will need to use the open-source Mesa stack with the xf86-video-ati driver (or the option of xf86-video-radeonhd if using a Radeon X1000 series ASIC).

For those using a Radeon HD 2000/3000/4000 series GPU, it means you will need to wait until at least Catalyst 9.4 in April before seeing X Server 1.6 support.
