[已解决]救救我的显卡!!Nvidia

我的电脑是Dell1400,显卡是8400GS.
在安装好后安装了显卡驱动可以正常的使用,但是在前2天系统更新后,显卡就出状况了.开机加载进度条结束后就进不去Xwindows,在文本下,屏幕使劲的闪,大约半分钟后停止,但是还是进不去,按回车键,能像下一行,但是没有字符跳出,转到tty2.root登录,删除xorg.conf后重启,正常的可以登录了,但是,这样显卡就相当于没有用,尝试重新安装run格式的显卡驱动,尝试nvidia-xconfig
后重启也没有用,彻底删除闭圆显卡,而安装开源的,重启问题依旧.
我g.cn好几天也没有解决的方法.似乎是无解一般.

但是，我不明白的是，vmalloc=256M参数是什么意思？说显存是256？
我的显卡的显存我自己现在都不知道是128还是256的。好郁闷

你把nouveau驱动删除，然后再安装nv的闭源驱动一样可以解决问题。
我觉得不一定非要用nouveau。
nouveau官方网站首页上的说明;

Some GPUs integrated onto the motherboard do not function with nouveau for some unknown reason.
These include the GeForce 8200/8300 and probably the 9400 as well. All other 8000/9000 series chipsets
should be able to function, assuming someone bothers to extract some microcode from an mmio-trace in
case this is not done already. The problematic GPUs identify as NVIDIA NVAx in the Xorg log, with x a hexadecimal
digit. If you have any NVAx card, you need to use KMS. Integrated nforce1 and nforce2 graphics probably do not
work, either.
2-D support is in fairly good shape with EXA acceleration, Xv and Randr12 (dual-head, rotations, etc.). Any 3-D
functionality that might exist is still unsupported. Do not ask for instructions to try it. See the current status of
Gallium3D on each chipset.

问题依旧是暂时性的解决了,但是显卡安装成功,启动也可以看见logo,可是OpenGL这些都没有打开,XBMC无法运行,不知道怎么解决,是摘xorg.conf中有相关的设置么?

实际情况是185.18.31是可以支持2.6.30包括2.6.31内核的。当然如果有问题不妨用较新的驱动。
