Help! A PHP fopen problem!

My operation system is fedora 8.

I tried to open the file with this sentence below, but the pointer fp is always the NULL.

$fp = fopen( "/var/www/html/orderlist.txt", "w")

I have checked that the path is right, the file is existing and the access right is also OK...

Somebody could help me? Thank you!
