Fedora 12的yum update 突然不能用了。（已解决，可参考！）

yum突然不能用了，网络是正常的。浏览网页也正常。检查了yum配置也很正常。之前修改好后一直正常的。之后就没有改过yum配置了。

运行yum update -y 老提示这个，说找不到数据。但我在浏览器直接打开那些yum更新的源又可以。大家又遇到这个问题吗？有的请说说。


问题已解决！原来是adsl拨号参数的问题导致。因为之前是不用拨号的（小区局域网），前几天管理的人说要改用拨号认证。类似adsl，只是拨号分配的地址是10.0.0.*的内网IP。改用拨号之后，其他网络服务都正常，就yum不能用。

解决方法：在用pppoe-setup设置拨号参数时，在下面的这项里

Do you want the link to come up on demand, or stay up continuously?
If you want it to come up on demand, enter the idle time in seconds
after which the link should be dropped.  If you want the link to
stay up permanently, enter 'no' (two letters, lower-case.)
NOTE: Demand-activated links do not interact well with dynamic IP
addresses.  You may have some problems with demand-activated links.
Enter the demand value (default no): 就是这里的问题了，默认是no，要改为yes。否则yum在使用时会自动瞬时断线，导致无法使用。
这项设置叫Activate-on-demand，实质是每次联网超时时间的设置！fedora上用adsl拨号上网的朋友可以参考。之前google没有找到说这个问题的。
