作业号后的加减号什么意思

作业号后面经常会看到加号或减号，不知道代表什么意思？例如：
[1]+
[2]-

在Bash Reference Manual, 7.1节 Job Control Basics中有如下一段话:

In output pertaining to jobs (e.g., the output of the jobs command), the current job is always flagged with a `+', and the previous job with a `-'.

简单来说，可以认为有+号的是最后一个被停止的作业，有-的是上一个作业。
