有没有好人用 Gentoo Prefix on MBP ?

大概半年前，我尝试硬盘安装 xxx Linux on MBP，
xxx Linux 是目前占有桌面份额最大的一个发行版，虽然安装很顺利，但是用户体验上却不如普通PC，CPU风扇莫名其妙的狂转，某些热键不能用等等。

MacPort 是 MBP 上比较流行的 package management system ，但是跟 Gentoo Portage 比起来感觉前者很山寨，看到 Gentoo Prefix 很高兴，有没有人长期使用 Gentoo Prefix on MBP 的 ？

有什么相关的小贴士么分享么？

我所知道的是

安装 prefix 时候，使用163 gentoo mirror 会快很多。

我用官方文档试过了，
portage没有strap成功
卡在这里了。
emerge --oneshot sed

emerge  --sync
!!! /Users/lee/Documents/Gentoo/usr/bin/rsync does not exist, so rsync support is disabled.

错误未贴完整，现在已经补上，提示emerge 只支持 sync ,但是 sync 呢 merge 又提示，没有 rsync ，其实 mac 自带了rsync 于／usr／bin

我单独执行rsync 提示用法外，最后还有如下


rsync error: syntax or usage error (code 1) at /SourceCache/rsync/rsync-40/rsync/main.c(1318) [client=2.6.9]

我怀疑是环境变量有问题，因为我发现在terminal下 export CLIcolor="xterm-color"我的该设置是无效的。

还有就是 我用的是64bit的内核。

只有等官方文档更新了。。。。

如果Gentoo prex能用在Mac OS X上倒是真的很不错，关注。

If you want to end up with a 64-bits native Prefix installation, then set your CHOST variable accordingly to x86_64-apple-darwin9 for Leopard, or x86_64-apple-darwin10 for Snow Leopard. You only need to do this if you want a 64-bits native Prefix!

应该下载 latest-portage.tar.bz2

然后 tar xf latest-portage.tar.bz2 -C /usr/

接着就可以了。

又报missing keyword 了。我郁闷了。

重做的时候发现 bootstarp tree 还要下个prefix-overlay-20110405.tar.bz2
第一次的时候是没下的，购日的，把我墙惨了，第一次就没下。现在

2M的水管，网易就180k/s , http://files.prefix.freens.org/d ... ay-20110405.tar.bz2 就 ......

我就说嘛，按照手册来肯定没问题的。
