fcitx can't be compiled by gcc-3.3?

I am using Gentoo woth the newest gcc-3.3 compiler ,glibc-2.3.2. I have installed xft-2.0.1-r2. But I am so puzzled why I can't compiled fcitx-1.8.5 with xft support, even without xft support. Is it the gcc-3.3's bug because I found so many package could not be compiled by gcc-3.3?
The fcitx.org guys provided rpm version before. Why not stop to provide fcitx-1.8.5 rpm package?

I checked the error messages. The make process stoped and display such messages like libxft......So I think maybe my xft or xfree comppiled wrong.

那您试试将xft部分自己编译一下如何呢？

我使用的是gentoo，XFree86－4.3－r3，它是把xft合在XFree里面的，单独编译xft反而是会和XFree发生冲突。所以我把XFree86卸载了，重新编译的时候，却发现编译不了，真是非常的痛苦啊。kde也编不了，难道是gcc3.3的问题吗？我不是搞计算机或者软件的，我不是很清楚，也没时间。Yuking兄，为什么不象以前一样提供rh和mandrake以外的rpm包呢？这样可以方便大家啊。

你连xfree也不能编译的话，还是建议你将gcc3.3卸了吧，重新用回gcc3.2比较好。

fcitx程序短小精精悍，很易编译的。。。。

fcitx编译的唯一依赖：xfree86里xlib的头文件。如果装了xft,fontconfig，那还可以编译xft版本的。
如果你没有xfree，你根本用不了X，也就不需要X下的输入法了。
