I installed fcitx,but can use. why?

I use Mandrake 9.1,
I can't use xin chinese input method.
And after I installed fcitx,it can't be used too.
I don't know why??
ps:
I input :
rpm -e Chinput
rpm -ivh fcitx-1.8.5-1.noarch.rpm

Can anybody tell me why??

试试
cd /usr/bin
ln -sf fcitx chinput
然后重新启动X

when I type fcitx under the console, it displays:
