我狂靠，既然SuSE8.2的补丁里边不支持GB18030咱下拉列表里边有GB18030可以选择而且还是首选。。。。。接着既然9.0支持GB18030为什么不提供相应的字体？

现在好了 XFREE86 4.4 将正式支持GB18030不用苏哲猛补丁了

SUSE没有打算自己开发亚太地区的市场，至少没有打算开发中国市场。UL成员之一的turbo对gb18030有很好的支持。如果NOVELL跟SUSE的合作顺利的话，没准NOVELL会提高SUSE对GB18030的支持，这个纯属于我个人猜测。

内核上好像没由gb18030支持，然后内核上utf中文什么的也是要日本人的补丁完成的。xfree86的话4.4已经内置支持，之前是苏哲的补丁。我说这话的意思是suse未免太不专业了。。。。

不过就不做，单做就应该做好。有BUG我没什么说地，但是弄虚作假就不好了。

没GB18030为什么默认中文编码设置成GB18030？这不是不专业，不是软件配置管理不到位，质量体系有缺陷地明显标志？

KDE环境不是厂家做的，所以，有些软件或者桌面环境是支持GB18030的，但是SUSE从来没有打算做中国市场呀。你以为GB18030的支持很容易吗？如果很简单的话，随手支持也不过分。
SONY的那CD,MD的线控，要到去年才支持双字节显示，莫非他们不想大家显示日文，韩文，中文？
专业专业，只是在某方面专长，不是你想到的，都是人家的专长。德国人的东西很好用，也很耐用，从汽车到电器，到地铁通讯，交通，你看看哪样不好？SUSE要做，肯定也是牛B那种。可惜人家不做中国市场。所以，咳，，，，我们SWORDER总是ZM。

GB18030的补丁是TurboLinux的苏哲补丁的将在下一个分发纳入XFREE86的正式版。编码是X Server支持而不是某个桌面环境。

作为版主你够格应用但开发以及具体细节至少X的运作方面。
