devfs in kernel 2.6

devfs is marked as "obsolete" in 2.6 kernel and that's confusing me.

I think that's why it's still better to stick with devfs right now.

我都没用
没时间折腾udev
用了devfs，我的palm无法同步

今天下午刚回到家，随便折腾了下

emerge udev
nvidia驱动要重新安装
PS/2鼠标变成了/dev/psaux （原来的devfsd有 /dev/mouse）
adsl无法拨号上网，后来察看log，提示  mknod /dev/ppp c 108 0 ，做完后就好了

我两台机器都是用devfs的，但是一台palm可以同步，另一台则不可以，还没仔细研究是怎么回事
